What is the purpose of Hotline for Wildlife?
[av_dropcap1]H[/av_dropcap1]otline for Wildlife is a database and resource center for hotline operators to record calls and provide information to the public who have encountered wildlife in distress, currently limited to the east coast with plans to be available to other volunteer organizations across the country and world.
Can I add my Organization?
[av_dropcap1]W[/av_dropcap1]e are currently limited to a few organizations at this time as we build the resource sections, however if you would like to be considered being added you can Register Your Organization on our website and after we have reviewed your information we will contact you to let you know if you are a good fit.
Can I become a Volunteer for the Hotline?
[av_dropcap1]V[/av_dropcap1]olunteers are always welcome and we have volunteer training throughout the year. You can sign up on our website with our Volunteer Sign Up form, you can also view our upcoming Wildlife Workshops.
Can I make a Donation?
[av_dropcap1]Y[/av_dropcap1]es, please do! While it is wonderful to have great volunteers money is always something we need to on a frequent basis to keep our project running. There are a number of ways you can donate including one time donations, memberships and shopping for supplies we need from Amazon. Help Fund Our Projects with a donation.

Can I use a trial login to see how this works?

How do you use and share data?
[av_dropcap1]W[/av_dropcap1]e collect information on an individual incident basis and we use that information to find the best solution for the wildlife, we also use that data to train and teach our new hotline volunteers. Data is aggregated into reports so we can see information about like cases. We do not sell or release the data for commercial gains.
What if we decide to leave as an organization?
[av_dropcap1]W[/av_dropcap1]e will make every effort to give you your data however there may be fees to export the data and this will be quoted on as needed basis.
Privacy and leaving?
[av_dropcap1]O[/av_dropcap1]nce you delete your profile from the database no further information will be stored on you or your account, therefore if you delete an organization or account you will need to reapply to join. We do not sell, share or make your personal data available to anyone outside of the organization. For follow up your name and information will be saved to incidents and we may use that information to contact you if we have questions.
