Whales

Whales swim in the waters off Cape Cod. The four dominant species are: the diminutive Minke, only 30' long, the little guy in the group. The Humpback, slightly larger at roughly 55' is just a bit shorter than the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale at 60' long--with approximately only 400 left in the world! Last but not least, the Finback Whale is the sleek giant at 80' long--but still smaller than the Blue Whale. Both suborders of whales are represented in these four--baleen and toothed.
